How do i take off my fake manicure nails?

i got them done at the shop between june 11th ish and i want them off before school starts, which is less than 3 weeks. thing is, before i got them my friends told me they'll just fall in in about 3 weeks but its been almost a month and i still have the nails on. i dont really want my real nails to be ruined, so should i just wait or remove them now? if u think i should remove them, please tell me how? kk thnxx!(:

oh and if u think i should wait, when do u think they may fall off?How do i take off my fake manicure nails?
Just run them under hot water for a couple of minutes that works for me!How do i take off my fake manicure nails?
Depending on the extent it took to put them on-

First try some warm water and press the warm water down on your nails not enough to press them on more, but more around the cuticles-

Then try some nail polish remover under the nail and around the cuticles to remove some of the glue, then rinse with warm water again.

Take a tooth pick or a wooden nail stick and try to pry from the back of the nail up and keep repeating the steps of warm water and especially nailpolish remover.

Eventually they should call off with the glue thinning and you pushing them out of there natural place.

Hope this helps babe :)

i know they can be a pain.
I'm assuming they are acrylics if you got them done at some shop a and they haven't fallen off in a month. I would go back to the shop to have them removed. No matter what, you real nail is going to be damaged. That's what happens with fake nails. They ruin your real nails. If you take them off your self (which you can do buy buying pure acetone nail polish remover and soaking them until they fall off. This takes a while.) you nails we peel and it will be painful. If you go into the salon, they will remove them professionally and it wont hurt or look as bad. But your nails aren't going to look like they did before, they won't be smooth. Depending on how fast your nails grow, it might take four or five months for them to go back to normal.
It's best to take them off now before they start peeling off and damaging your nail. Buy some nail polish remover with acetone. Pour some into a glass bowl and soak your nails. It will dissolve the nails and the glue. After a few minutes the nails will get loose and you can gently pry them off with an orangewood stick or thin nail file. You may need to lightly buff them to help get the last bits off your nail. Next rinse your hands off well with a moisturizing soap and them give them a good coating of lotion as acetone may dry out your nails and finger tips.
You can either:

-soak your nails in pure acetone. they will get gooie and a little messy. I used that method the first time I took my nails off.

OR

-go back to the place that put them on and they'll take them off for you. Usually they don't use acetone but some places may be different. Where I go it kind of hurts getting them off, but the acetone is such a pain in the butt! Another reason why going to the place is good is that when they're done they can clean up your nails for you and paint them or something.

You've only had them for a month, so there is no guarantee if your real nails will be weak or not. Mine usually are, but I just put this clear polish ';hard as nails'; on them.

Good luck! hope this helped!
Depends on the thickness. Depends on the method they used.

I had very thick ones once and they just wouldn't fall for a very very long time. Went to the nail place and paid $15 to have them removed and to get new ones.

they basically put my hands in some kind of acetone for 10min and then started to cut at them and to try to ';unglue'; them. They inserted fake nails between my natural nails and the fake ones to separate them and kept pushing. It was extremely painful and I could have done the same thing myself. My advice is just let them fall off on their own. 3 weeks should do it for you. :)
If you leave them on they will fall off but not in 3 weeks you will still have some of them when you go back to school.

If you didn't want them to ruin your nails you should have never got them put on. I know this from personal experience. If you really don't want them on any more you can soak your nails in nail polish remover. Make sure it has ACETONE in it or it wont work.
i think if you really want to take them off before school starts then you should go for it1:)

and if you dont wanna ruin your nails then you could just get a bowl of hot water and put your nails in there one hand at a time and then the glue starts to soften up and then you can easily take them off yeaa so i hope i let you know wat you needed to know .! good luck!:)
Use pure acetone, which you can get at Sally's. Soak your nails in it and it will dissolve the acrylic. Don't pull or pry them off, that WILL ruin your nails. Chances are you will have some damage because the acrylic blocks the nail from getting oxygen.
you can get fake nail remover from a walmart or target, well pretty much anywhere. its only a couple bucks. and you just soak your nails in there and they will fall off in like 20 minutes or so.
you can go back to the salon and pay 10 dollar or so to have them removed. or you can go but acitone and soak them in it.
go to the local drug store or even walmart anywhere the sell nail care products they should have a product by the nail polish remover that states artificail nail remover it should be in a small palstic jar.
try soaking your fingers in a small bowl of nail polish remover. you can soak until the nails fall off or soak for 10 minutes and try to peel them off yourself
they fall off on there own, but if u want to do it yourself anyway, then dip your nails in a bowl of nail polish remover, and they fall off
get some really really HOT water and put your fingers in it and they should like start to come up then pull them off but not tooo hard
if they are the fake kind but u got them done professionally soak one finger at a time in nail polish remover and they should come off.

hope i helped!!!
acitone or cut them off with a nail clipper but be careful. Cut the side and the rest will maybe break. Worked for me.
take them off. juss bitee them off. and use a metrocard to get the pieces of nail left on your actual nail.lol.
Soak them in acetone, found next to the nail polish at the store.
Are they acrylic? Gel? It depends on what kind they are...
nail polish removal works great
scissors
stick yoru hands in nail polish remover. just dont ask how i know this.....
try youtube. they might show you how to take them off without ruining your nails
To get the fake nails off, you should get some acetone and put it in a bowl and then sink your fake nails there for at least 15 minutes. Then take a wooden stick and gently pull the nails with the stick. If it seems like they are still not coming off, you should put the nails back in the acetone. If you don´t have any acetone, you can try using hot water; it makes the glue go off.

Also if you do not have a wooden stick you can use a finger nail file to slowly remove the artificial nails. After removing all of the artificial nails, you can carefully try buffering the extra nail glue off your natural nails and after that put some lotion on your nails or some nail polish,

You should not in any case try ripping and tearing off the fake nails because it really can ruin your own natural nails. It can rip off layers off your own natural nail too when the fake nail is ripped off and it makes the natural nail very thin and rough textured and when the nail is thin enough, the part of the finger where the nail is, becomes very sore and this will last for some weeks until the damaged nail grows out
