Of course painting them is one thing they do. A professional manicure expertly shapes your nails and pushes the cuticle which provides a neat appearance to the nail bed. Depending on where you live, nail salons are normally very competitively priced between 10 - 15 dollars. If the manicure is done properly it does not hurt. Some places have nail technicians that are over zealous about treating the nail cuticle. You should definitely get a manicure once in your lifetime! i have nice natural nails and a manicure for me involves, having my nails trimmed, shaped and polished. some places also do a nice massage of the wrists and forearms.
