Hey there are no stupid question just stupid answers. I have been a manicurist and makeup artist for 15 years. I own my business. I'm pretty qualified to answers this for you. So a manicure is for the hands it usuall consists of soaking the nails shaping, cleaning up the cutilcle(the skin that grows at the end of the nail bed) buffing, sometimes a massage of the hands and arms. and the polish. Sounds good huh? The pedicure is the same but for feet. Also, they usually will scrape the dead skin off the feet and use a good scrub to remove the rest of it. I hope this helps. It's definitely a good idea to get manis and pedis it helps restore the health of the hands and feet! You go to a salon, and there are a bunch of ladies and a bunch of chairs that look like massage chairs with little baths under them. If you want to sit at the fancy chair it usually costs more, but its really nice. Basically what they do is clean and shape your nails, and then paint them the color you pick.
a manicure is when u get your nails painted .and a pedicure is when u get your toes did.
manicure is when someone does ur nails..pedicure is toes.
